Dreams of Mungo No.1

As we journey on this land there are few places that reach right into the centre of us and remind us why we are here. Lake Mungo is that place for me. The journey place of my Ancestors, the Mutti Mutti people (as well as other language groups). This place was a stomping ground for my bloodline, and I feel them so powerfully still dancing there. And so I need to express that through painting. Through the colours that dance within me from my experiences there. This painting is my abstract interpretation of the Mungo sand dunes.
